Digital Photography & Graphic Design

Students learn digital photography and design in one of two labs at Berkeley High School. Students are taught primarily using Adobe Creative Cloud Suite on iMac computers, but have the ability to learn a variety of different applications if they continue on into the Advanced Digital Photo classes. Students learn to create unique visions, build portfolios, understand the complex art world and critique. Through a variety of grants and funding from CTE (Career Tech Education) students have access to state of the art digital labs with Epson Scanners & Printers, as well as having dSLR cameras for students to check out. In the Advanced classes students learn studio lighting and how to design their own independent websites.
